A Florida native, Justin grew up in Parkland, a small suburb in South Florida just outside of Boca Raton. He began college studying finance at the University of Florida during a time when financial markets were going through a historic boom and bust cycle. Conversations about planning for the unforeseen – including risk of portfolio and personal loss – began to influence how he wanted to build his career. After graduating in 2009 off the heels of a historic recession, Justin chose to build a from scratch financial planning practice in a new city. Along with his planning practice, he is the owner/CEO of Systems on Purpose, where he teaches Northwestern Mutual financial advisors how to build their own client experience playbook. He also serves on the board of the FRA, an advocacy arm representing the interests of those in the field and co-creating solutions with the home office for a better Northwestern Mutual for all. Justin says his favorite job is husband to his wife, Katlyn, and father to his two children, Crew and Poe. He enjoys competing in triathlon where he’s qualified for two age group national championships in the sprint/Olympic distances. He's also a voracious reader and dedicated to being a lifelong learner.

Spencer started at Northwestern Mutual in 2018 joining his wife Erika who started their practice in 2011. In his past professional life, he served as the Director of the National Academy of Inventors as well as the Senior Vice President of the Sigma Nu Educational Foundation. Taking his experience in the non profit world and dealing with high net worth individuals he came to Northwestern Mutual to help families and businesses accomplish their goals in the most tax efficient way possible. The practice serves families and businesses all over the United States. Everything has been built with the idea of “Raving Fans” at the forefront to put the focus on the goals and dreams of our client base. Spencer and Erika live in Tampa, FL with their daughter, Caroline and doodles, Scottie and Lizzie. When not working they enjoy to travel and spending time with their family at the lake.

Nicole graduated with her masters and bachelor’s from University of South Florida and has earned designations such as the Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) and Retirement Income Certified Professional (RICP). Nicole’s unique gift is connecting her client’s goals to a meaningful action plan.During her career at Northwestern, Nicole has been elevated to the Managing Director position and currently serves on the board of the Managing Director Association. As a subject matter thought leader, she has contributed to many publications such as; The Skimm, Pregnancy Magazine, Marie Claire, and the local business journals. When Nikki is not working, she spends most of her free time chauffeuring her five daughters (Camryn, Callie, Mackenzie, Charlie, and Brooke) around to their various activities and taking long walks with her 3 pups and husband Greg. She loves raising daughters and spent over 10 years as a girl scout troop leader. Besides family, her other passion is raising money and awareness for the Crohns and Colitis Foundation. Both her and her daughter Callie were diagnosed with this illness and want to do whatever they can to find a cure! A lifelong learner and change agent, Nikki has been recognized by many organizations for her contributions to the community. Mostly notably she was the recipient for the Business Woman of the Year Award, University of South Florida’s division of diversity women’s leadership award, Best in the Business award, Be More Awards, and Fast 56 award.

Originally from New Jersey, Ryan spent over 10 years in North Carolina where he graduated from High Point University in 2012. After college Ryan spent around 9 years working in collegiate athletic ticket operations spanning from North Carolina State University, Old Dominion University, and the University of South Florida.

Ryan transition from ticket operations to insurance operations after joining Northwestern Mutual in August 2021. Since joining Northwestern Mutual he has assisted several advisors and was the recipient of the Commitment to Excellence award in 2022. He now resides in Tampa, Florida with his wife Courtney. Ryan is an avid sports fan and enjoys keeping up with the latest television shows & movies.

I was born and spent my childhood years outside of Chicago, Illinois. In October 2021, I moved to Florida from Connecticut where I had been living for the last 16 years. I received my bachelor’s in business administration and human resources management from Charter Oak State College. In my free time I enjoy spending time with friends, my fur babies, Moo-Finn (dog), Bessie (dog), Garfunkel (cat), and Batman (cat). Going to theme parks or the beach, and gardening. In 2013 while working for Aflac I got my licenses in life, accident, and health insurance. Later in 2014 while working with Ameritas Investment Corp, I completed the series 7 and 66 licenses. Prior to joining Northwestern Mutual in May 2022, I also worked for Thrivent Financial, RBC, and Morgan Stanley.
